BIOGRAPHY

Fadi Raad (b. 1981) is a contemporary visual artist and academic currently based in Kuwait. He holds a PhD in Visual Arts from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Drawing and Painting from the National Institute of Fine Arts, Beirut.

His academic career includes six years of teaching at the Lebanese University, before joining the American University of the Middle East (AUM) in Kuwait, where he currently serves as Assistant Professor of Art and Coordinator of the Photography Club.

Alongside his academic work, Fadi maintains an active artistic practice. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across France and Lebanon, reflecting his ongoing engagement with cross-cultural perspectives and contemporary visual discourse.
